Remote Mechanical Engineer – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer to join a global manufacturing leader on a contract basis. This fully remote position involves designing, analyzing, and optimizing mechanical systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and test mechanical components and systems to meet project requirements.
• Create technical drawings, schematics, and documentation using CAD software.
• Perform structural, thermal, and fluid dynamics simulations to validate designs.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure cost‑effective production and quality control.
• Conduct failure analysis and recommend design improvements based on test results.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency with CAD tools such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials science, and relevant industry standards.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
