Remote Tax Consultant (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Tax Consultant to join our client’s team on a remote contract basis. The role involves applying your expertise in U.S. federal and state tax law to train next‑generation AI systems, ensuring high‑quality, real‑world input for finance‑focused models. No prior AI experience is required – your domain knowledge is the key asset.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze U.S. federal and state tax statutes, focusing on statutory language, conditions, thresholds, logic, and legal exceptions.
• Review and evaluate English translations of complex tax laws for accuracy and clarity.
• Provide comprehensive, structured written feedback within a review UI to ensure regulatory compliance and high‑quality output.
• Apply logical reasoning to identify inconsistencies, ambiguities, and gaps in tax documentation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional team members and stakeholders to clarify interpretations and resolve discrepancies.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of U.S. tax law, including federal and state statutes, regulations, and court decisions.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency in written communication with the ability to deliver clear, concise feedback.
• Strong logical reasoning and critical‑thinking skills.
