Restaurant Chef – Staff Cafeteria & Events

About the role

The Restaurant Chef will lead the kitchen for Shaheen7Stars’ staff cafeteria and on‑site events in Jhelum, creating daily meals that showcase fresh, seasonal produce from the company’s farms. Reporting to the facility manager, the role balances menu planning, food safety, cost control and team supervision on a full‑time basis.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and develop seasonal menus and costed recipe cards.
• Prepare and serve daily meals for staff and coordinate catering for corporate events.
• Supervise, roster and train a small kitchen team, ensuring a safe and clean work environment.
• Implement and maintain HACCP or equivalent food‑safety procedures.
• Manage inventory, forecast procurement needs and minimise waste.
• Control food costs, monitor portion sizes and maintain budgetary margins.
• Ensure quality, plating and presentation meet corporate catering standards.

Required profile

• Proven culinary experience across diverse cuisines with a focus on fresh vegetables, fruits and grains.
• Strong knowledge of food‑safety regulations and HACCP implementation.
• Ability to lead a kitchen team, handle rostering and resolve conflicts.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills for routine meals and ad‑hoc events.
