About the role
The Supervisor for Fresh Dairy, Bakery & Café will oversee daily operations, ensuring product quality, stock availability, and a hygienic environment. This position reports to the department manager and coordinates with the QA team.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor expiry dates and ensure timely removal of expired products.
- Maintain up‑to‑date rail cards, signage, and shelf presentation.
- Ensure stock availability and perform timely repacking entries in the GMS system.
- Conduct weekly MAV calculations for bakery production based on internal consumption.
- Place stock orders with proper documentation and participate in weekly and annual inventories.
- Implement corrective and preventive measures to control waste and shrinkage.
- Address QA issues from periodic visits and maintain cleanliness of bakery and production areas.
- Perform free sampling for high‑priced product promotions and suggest new bakery recipes to boost sales.
Required profile
- Intermediate education level.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in bakery, dairy, or café supervision.
