Sales Engineer – Generator (Hybrid Energy Solutions)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Engineer to promote and sell diesel generator sets and hybrid solar‑genset solutions to industrial, commercial and off‑grid customers in Karachi. The role combines technical understanding of power backup systems with strong sales acumen to match client power needs with appropriate products.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell diesel generators and hybrid solar‑genset systems.
• Identify new leads and business opportunities across industrial, commercial, and remote/off‑grid sectors.
• Assess customer power requirements and propose suitable solutions, including capacity sizing and hybrid options.
• Conduct site visits and collaborate with technical teams for feasibility studies and design.
• Prepare quotations, technical proposals, and ROI analyses.
• Negotiate pricing, close deals, and ensure timely follow‑up.
• Maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and channel partners.
• Stay updated on market trends, policies, and competitor offerings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of experience selling power backup solutions (diesel generators or hybrid systems).
• Proven ability to understand technical specifications and translate them into sales proposals.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of diesel generator sets and hybrid solar‑genset technology.
• Experience with capacity sizing and ROI calculation for power solutions.
• Ability to conduct feasibility assessments and technical design coordination.
