Sales Marketing Officer - Educational Software

About the role

A Sales Marketing Officer is needed to promote and sell educational software solutions to schools and educational institutions across Pakistan. The role suits a proactive, target-driven sales professional who can approach school decision-makers, explain the value of the software and turn prospects into paying clients. Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills are required, along with a strong interest in educational technology and B2B sales.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential customers such as schools, colleges, academies and other educational institutions.
• Promote and sell the software through school visits, meetings and product demonstrations to decision-makers.
• Explain software features, benefits and pricing, and how the solution improves school management and operations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with school management and key decision-makers.
• Generate new leads through field visits, phone calls, referrals, networking and online channels.
• Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Maintain an updated sales pipeline, customer database and daily or weekly sales activity reports.
• Coordinate with technical and customer support teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new customers.

Required profile

• Intermediate or equivalent qualification; a diploma or additional qualification in Marketing, Sales or a related field is an advantage.
• 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in educational software, EdTech, SaaS or B2B sales.
• Experience selling to schools and educational institutions.
• Ability to present software solutions confidently to school owners, principals and senior management.
• Familiarity with MS Office, Google Workspace, CRM systems and basic sales reporting.
• Willingness to travel for school visits and client meetings.
