Security Architect – Compliance & Risk Management

About the role

The Security Architect – Compliance & Risk Management will safeguard MCB's IT infrastructure by designing, reviewing, and implementing secure architectures. Reporting to senior management, the role aligns stakeholder interests and drives continuous improvement in security resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and review of secure IT system architectures to meet security policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and mentor a team of five security professionals, fostering collaboration and growth.
• Develop and implement security review processes, including secure coding, vulnerability assessments, and threat modeling.
• Oversee deployment of security tools such as API gateways and Web Application Firewalls.
• Ensure adherence to frameworks and benchmarks like CIS Benchmarks and OWASP guidelines.
• Communicate security risks, compliance status, and mitigation strategies to business stakeholders.
• Monitor security metrics and prepare detailed reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, IT, Computer Science or related field; Master's preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of security compliance, governance, risk management, and regulatory adherence.
• Strong leadership and project‑management capabilities.
