MIS & Analytics Executive (AVP)

About the role

The MIS & Analytics Executive (AVP) will lead the President Secretariat’s management information system, delivering high‑quality reports, dashboards and insights to support senior decision‑making at National Bank of Pakistan.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and oversee a centralized MIS framework for the President Secretariat, consolidating data from multiple departments.
• Prepare periodic and on‑demand MIS reports, executive summaries, dashboards and analytical reports for the President, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Analyze financial, operational and performance data to identify trends, gaps and emerging issues, and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Design high‑quality presentations, briefing materials and executive dashboards for senior management and Board‑level engagements.

Required profile

• Minimum graduation; Masters degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in MIS, management reporting, data analysis or business intelligence, preferably in banking or a large corporate environment.
• Hands‑on experience preparing Excel‑based reports, dashboards and executive‑level presentations.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel (PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, charts, data cleaning, conditional formatting).
• PowerPoint for executive‑level presentations and data visualization.
• Power BI or equivalent BI tools for dashboard development.
• Knowledge of SQL, VBA, Python or similar reporting/automation tools.
