Senior Accountant – P&L, Balance Sheet, Trading & Inventory

About the role

Salman Traders is looking for a detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to manage the full spectrum of financial operations, including profit & loss reporting, balance‑sheet preparation, trade documentation and inventory control. The role is based in Lahore and reports to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain Profit & Loss (P&L) statements.
• Prepare, review and manage Balance Sheets.
• Handle trading activities and Letter of Credit (LC) documentation.
• Manage inventory records, stock reconciliation and inventory valuation.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor banking transactions.
• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Prepare sales tax invoices and maintain sales tax records.
• Generate and manage customer and vendor invoices.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Assist management with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Coordinate with banks, suppliers and auditors as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a trading company.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and communicate financial information clearly.
