Senior Accountant – US Clients (Pakistan Office)

About the role

HBCS is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to lead the US Accounting Department from its Pakistan sub‑office. You will manage US‑based client accounts, ensure tax compliance, and help build a high‑performing accounting team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounting and bookkeeping for US clients.
• Review financial records, reconciliations, and reports.
• Provide US taxation‑related accounting support.
• Work with cloud accounting platforms such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, Zoho Books, and similar tools.
• Coordinate with clients to obtain accounting data and documentation.
• Supervise, train, and review the work of junior accountants.
• Support hiring and development of the US accounting team.
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
• Improve accounting workflows and internal processes.
• Report to management on client work, team performance, and deadlines.

Required profile

• ACCA, CA, CPA, MBA, Finance or M.Com (or equivalent).
• Minimum 3–5 years of US accounting, bookkeeping, and tax experience.
• Prior work with US accounting firms or US clients preferred.
• Experience supervising staff or building a department is a plus.
• Strong English communication skills.
