Senior Architectural Design Team Lead

About the role

Nopex Services is seeking a senior architect to lead its architectural design and drafting team. The role involves managing project deliverables for US‑based residential, commercial and multifamily projects while communicating directly with international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and drafting for US projects, ensuring compliance with building codes, specifications and jurisdictional requirements.
• Review and coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP and BIM disciplines, maintaining accuracy and constructability.
• Manage project schedules, revisions and quality‑control processes.
• Conduct online meetings with US clients, translate feedback into clear instructions for the team, and support client relationship management.
• Supervise a team of draftsmen and CAD/Revit technicians, assign tasks, provide technical guidance and enforce drawing standards.
• Prepare permit sets and construction document packages, coordinating with licensed US design professionals when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of professional architectural experience, preferably on US projects.
• Proven experience leading or supervising draftsmen, CAD or Revit technicians.
• Excellent spoken and written English with confidence in client meetings.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows.
• Strong knowledge of US architectural drawing standards, IBC, IRC and ADA requirements.
• Ability to independently review drawing sets and identify technical discrepancies.
