Senior Associate I - Sustainability

About the role

PwC's sustainability professionals integrate environmental, social, economic and governance considerations into business strategies and operations, helping organisations manage sustainability risks and opportunities. As a sustainability generalist, you will use your ESG knowledge to analyse client needs and deliver consulting across the sustainability lifecycle, including strategy, transformation and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct climate-related risk assessments covering transition and physical risks, identifying material risks and opportunities across the entity's value chain and evaluating their likelihood under various scenarios
• Assess the potential financial and operational impacts of those risks
• Calculate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in line with the GHG Protocol

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Sustainability, Climate Science or a related field
• Practical experience in climate risk assessment and GHG accounting and reporting
• Experience in climate data analysis, including GIS and spatial data analysis
• Sound understanding of leading climate frameworks, including the IPCC's climate scenarios
• Proficiency in climate modelling tools and technologies relevant to climate science
• Ability to work with business teams, review data and explain key findings clearly
