Senior Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

TechnoBIZ® is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust security controls for client cloud and on‑premises environments. You will act as a subject‑matter expert, safeguarding information assets, identifying vulnerabilities, and responding to incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Design and configure firewalls, corporate antivirus, XDR/NDR, DLP, email security, NMS, and intrusion prevention systems (IPS).
• Serve as the incident‑response lead, investigating breaches, determining root causes, and implementing remediation.
• Provide high‑quality customer support, explaining complex security issues and guiding security improvements.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience in cyber security or network security.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, able to work under pressure and manage multiple client environments.
• Preferred certifications: CompTIA Security+, ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity, CEH, or equivalent vendor certifications.

• Firewalls, corporate antivirus, XDR, NDR, DLP, email security, NMS, IPS.
• EDR/XDR/NDR deployment and fine‑tuning.
• Security assessments, health check‑ups, vulnerability scanning, and incident investigations.
• Technical support, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and solution integration.
• Delivery of technical presentations, proofs of concept, and training sessions.
• Collaboration with vendor support teams for escalations and design.
