Senior D365 Functional Consultant - Finance & Supply Chain

About the role

An experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Functional Consultant is sought, with 4 to 10 years of relevant experience in Finance and Supply Chain Management. The consultant works with business stakeholders, technical teams and end users to understand requirements, configure solutions, optimise workflows and deliver D365 F&O implementations and enhancements.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements for D365 F&O across Finance and SCM functions.
• Configure and support D365 F&O modules and manage end-to-end Finance and SCM processes.
• Work with Finance teams on general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, fixed assets and financial reporting.
• Support SCM processes such as procurement, inventory, product information, warehouse management and sales order processing.
• Run requirement-gathering sessions, business process mapping, gap analysis and fit-gap assessments.
• Prepare functional specifications and work with technical teams on customisations, integrations and enhancements.
• Support system testing, UAT, issue resolution, data migration, deployment and post-go-live support.
• Deliver end-user training, user guides and change management support.
• Improve business processes and maintain functional documentation.

Required profile

• 4 to 10 years of relevant experience in D365 F&O.
• Hands-on experience in configuration, implementation, enhancements or application support.
• Experience in requirement gathering, functional documentation and fit-gap analysis.
• Experience collaborating with technical teams on customisations, integrations and reporting.
• Full-cycle D365 F&O implementation experience is an advantage; certifications are preferred but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Strong functional knowledge of D365 F&O Finance and SCM modules.
• Knowledge of functional testing, UAT, defect management and issue resolution.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to train and support end users.
