Senior Data Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our software engineering team. You will design, build, secure, and maintain analytics solutions that power data‑driven decision making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data systems and pipelines to support analytics workloads.
• Evaluate business needs, interpret trends, and prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling.
• Build algorithms, prototypes, and combine raw information from multiple sources.
• Enhance data quality, reliability, and extract insights from semi‑structured, structured, and unstructured data.
• Implement complex data aggregates and business logic using advanced SQL.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering and ETL technologies.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with AWS services.
• Proven ability to design, build, secure, and maintain analytics solutions on AWS.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL.
• Python and Pandas.
• AWS services: Lambda, Glue, Athena, Redshift, IoT Core/Analytics (preferred).
• Big data frameworks: Hadoop, Spark, Hive.
