Senior Electrical Automation Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Hayat is seeking a Senior Electrical Automation Maintenance Engineer to join its Electrical & Automation Maintenance team at the Faisalabad manufacturing plant. The role ensures reliable performance of electrical and automation systems, handling troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, and leading the technician team to minimise downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Program and troubleshoot Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC‑based control systems, drives and electrical equipment on production machinery.
• Design, modify and integrate HMI applications for new and existing equipment.
• Support and troubleshoot vision inspection systems on production lines.
• Plan and manage preventive and corrective maintenance through SAP PM, ensuring timely execution.
• Identify technical faults before breakdowns and implement permanent solutions for recurring failures.
• Analyse failure frequency, maintain defect tracking and report improvement recommendations.
• Guide technicians, review daily checklists and support their technical development.
• Read, develop and maintain electrical project drawings and redesign system plans as needed.
• Monitor spare parts availability and coordinate outsourced maintenance services.
• Prepare technical specifications for investment projects and test electrical power and connections for new equipment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of electrical and automation maintenance experience, preferably in a multinational FMCG or manufacturing environment.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Preference for candidates based in Faisalabad.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Siemens software: SIMATIC Manager, TIA Portal, SIMOTION SCOUT, WinCC Flexible.
• Basic knowledge of Allen Bradley (RSLogix 5000) and Allen Bradley HMIs.
• HMI design and system integration for Siemens and Allen Bradley platforms.
• Strong knowledge of SAP PM and CMMS systems.
• Experience with Keyence vision systems (plus).
• AutoCAD Electrical (plus).
