Senior Engineering Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

The Senior Engineering Manager will oversee multiple construction sites across Rawalpindi, handling new builds, maintenance, solar and special projects. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards while providing technical guidance to on‑site teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise construction and post‑construction activities for new, maintenance and special projects.
• Develop and maintain KPI tracking systems and dashboards for time, cost and quality performance.
• Review BOQs, BBS, contractor bills and variations, ensuring alignment with actual work performed.
• Lead a team of engineers (APM) across various sites, providing technical support and supervision.
• Conduct regular site inspections, contractor meetings and resolve on‑site issues or delays.
• Ensure compliance with design drawings, codes, standards and TCF specifications.
• Implement quality control and assurance processes at all project levels.
• Forecast material availability risks and communicate potential delays to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 17 years of relevant experience in construction project execution.
• B.E/BSc in Civil Engineering; a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Project Management is an advantage.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across different locations.
• Strong knowledge of building construction, structural assessment, rehabilitation, retrofitting, soil investigation and land surveying.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and willingness to travel frequently to project sites.
