Senior Finance Specialist (Remote)

About the role

This senior finance position supports a technology platform that connects freelancers with AI‑driven microtasks. Working fully remotely, you will ensure accurate financial processing, compliance, and reporting for high‑volume global transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile financial transactions across multiple payment gateways and third‑party processors.
• Validate and process micro‑task payments to freelancers worldwide, adhering to regional tax and labor regulations.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records within defined turnaround times.
• Prepare monthly financial summaries and reports for audit and compliance review.
• Monitor platform fee structures and recommend adjustments to optimize revenue while staying competitive.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in financial operations, accounting, or payment processing, preferably within gig‑economy platforms or digital marketplaces.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work autonomously, and commitment to confidentiality.
• Familiarity with international tax regulations such as VAT and withholding tax.

Required skills

• Proficiency with financial software, ERP systems, and payment reconciliation tools.
• Understanding of blockchain or cryptocurrency‑based transaction processing (a plus).
