Senior Financial Analyst

About the role

Contour Software, a subsidiary of Constellation Software Inc. and part of the Volaris Group, is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst. The role reports directly to the VP, Finance (Bacchus Portfolio) and works within the broader Finance team, contributing to portfolio reporting and helping portfolio business units improve group reporting, internal processes and controls.

Key responsibilities

• Post monthly and quarterly journal entries, including IC charges and transfer pricing entries, and prepare reconciliations on time
• Handle payroll and related entries, including bonuses and expense reports, and manage Concur expense reports
• Prepare payments, support internal audit compliance, and follow up on incomplete reconciliations and reporting delays
• Prepare the tax pack for the portfolio holding company and support portfolio companies
• Follow up on unreconciled IC balances and unmapped BPC accounts, and coordinate resolution of reporting variances
• Act as the point of contact for BPC and GP submissions, and execute the internal audit plan (sampling, control documentation, remediation plans)
• Support template improvements, NetSuite implementation coordination and ad-hoc process improvement initiatives

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business or Finance, or equivalent
• Six to eight years of experience in accounting, reporting and audit roles
• Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS, accounting principles and audit practices
• Preferred: professional accreditation such as CPA, ACCA or an international IFRS-based qualification
