Senior Fintech & Islamic Digital Banking Consultant

About the role

Zetaver seeks an experienced Fintech Domain Expert to guide the development of an international digital financial platform that offers Islamic banking, financing, investments, trading, and AI‑powered services. The consultant will act as a bridge between regulatory requirements, business needs, and technology implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on fintech architecture, business workflows, and multi‑jurisdiction regulatory requirements.
• Identify licensing, compliance and operational dependencies across GCC, Uzbekistan and European markets.
• Guide the design of Shariah‑compliant banking and investment products.
• Collaborate with engineering on BRDs, product requirements, POCs and technical SOWs.
• Provide guidance on regulated AI applications in financial education, investment advisory and automated trading.
• Support client discovery meetings, solution design and technical discussions.
• Mentor the engineering team and transfer fintech domain knowledge.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in fintech, digital banking, financial services or regulatory consulting.
• Hands‑on experience delivering or advising on digital banking, investment or fintech platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Islamic finance and relevant regulatory frameworks (AAOIFI, GCC, EU).
• Experience working with financial institutions, fintech startups or technology delivery teams.
• Ability to translate complex financial requirements into clear product and engineering specifications.
• Experience across multiple regulatory jurisdictions is highly desirable.

• Multi‑region regulatory compliance (GCC, Uzbekistan, Europe).
• Islamic finance structures: Murabaha, Ijarah, Musharakah, Mudarabah, Sukuk.
• AI‑driven financial education platforms and responsible AI practices.
• Digital investment platforms, robo‑advisory, algorithmic trading.
• SME financing, credit assessment, KYC/AML and financial risk management.
