Senior Infrastructure Engineer – On-Prem & Hybrid Cloud

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with deep experience building and operating enterprise‑grade platform services on‑premises and in hybrid environments. You will bring cloud‑like capabilities such as EMR, S3, Lambda and SQS to on‑prem infrastructure, ensuring precision, control, and resilience for mission‑critical workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate platform services across on‑prem and hybrid cloud environments.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code pipelines using Terraform, ArgoCD, and GitHub Actions, applying GitOps principles.
• Run and scale Kubernetes clusters, handling cluster administration, networking, and security.
• Stand up and manage big‑data infrastructure (e.g., Hadoop, EMR‑equivalent) on bare metal.
• Architect and operate distributed storage (MinIO/S3‑compatible) and caching layers (Redis, Memcached).
• Implement a full observability stack with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.

Required profile

• Proven production experience delivering cloud‑like services on‑premises at scale.
• Hands‑on expertise with big‑data platforms and distributed storage/caching solutions.
• Strong background in Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, and pipeline automation.
• Advanced Kubernetes administration skills.
• Solid grounding in observability tools and practices.
