Senior L&D Specialist

About the role

IPS Pakistan is seeking an experienced Senior Learning & Development Specialist to design, implement and continuously improve L&D programs that boost employee capabilities and support business growth. The role will lead training needs analysis, content creation, facilitation and evaluation across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute L&D strategies aligned with business goals and competency frameworks.
• Conduct comprehensive Training Needs Analyses using performance data, manager feedback and competency gaps.
• Plan, coordinate and deliver onboarding, technical, soft‑skill, leadership, compliance and functional training.
• Create and update training materials, facilitator guides, e‑learning modules, job aids and SOP‑based resources.
• Facilitate classroom, virtual and blended sessions employing adult‑learning methodologies.
• Partner with managers and HR Business Partners to address performance gaps with targeted interventions.
• Track attendance, completion rates, assessment scores and business impact; produce L&D dashboards and reports.
• Administer the Learning Management System, including course assignments, learner records and reporting.
• Collaborate with HR, department heads, SMEs and external providers to deliver effective learning solutions.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, post‑training performance and KPI analysis.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Learning & Development, preferably in a senior or lead capacity.
• Strong background in training needs analysis, instructional design and facilitation.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage comprehensive training programs.
• Experience working closely with managers, HR partners and cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent analytical skills to measure learning impact and drive continuous improvement.
