Senior Lecturer – Higher Education (Remote)

About the role

Riphah International University is seeking a dedicated Senior Lecturer in Higher Education to work remotely. The successful candidate will design and deliver HND curriculum, supervise student research, and contribute to the university’s academic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, design and update curriculum content for Higher National Diploma programmes, ensuring alignment with academic and industry standards.
• Deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions using appropriate learning management systems to support diverse learning styles.
• Supervise research projects, guiding students to produce high‑quality, timely outputs.
• Meet annual performance targets set by the Head of Department for teaching quality and research supervision.
• Organise course materials, track student progress and facilitate communication through the learning management system.
• Assess student performance through assignments, exams and practical assessments, providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with faculty to maintain curriculum relevance and participate in academic committees.
• Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to academic publications and research proposals.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of post‑Masters experience in higher education.
• At least one peer‑reviewed publication.
• Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum and supervise research.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems.
