Senior Manager, Product Creation

About the role

The Senior Manager, Product Creation will be a key driver of adidas Global Sourcing, ensuring that new products meet the highest standards of fit, comfort, design integrity, performance and manufacturability. This role leads the end‑to‑end development and commercialization process for assigned sports categories.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development and commercialization for one or more product categories, ensuring they exceed customer expectations.
• Oversee the direct development process between the Headquarters/Creation Center and Tier‑1 factories.
• Manage cross‑functional Sourcing teams to prioritize product integrity and Create‑to‑Value.
• Build and maintain relationships with factory development leaders to raise technical competence and innovation.
• Make scope‑defined decisions, provide directives, and influence design, marketing, brand operations and quality functions.
• Coach and develop the team, fostering diversity, equity and inclusion.

Required profile

• University degree in engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of industry experience with technical and managerial responsibilities.
• Proven ability to lead multidimensional teams and drive regional projects.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong project‑management, influencing, presentation and communication capabilities.
