Senior Manager Warehouse & Inventory Planning

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Manager Warehouse & Inventory Planning to lead the warehouse operations at Shifa International Hospitals Limited in Islamabad. The role ensures continuous availability of critical medical supplies while optimizing stock levels and costs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement standardized warehouse management policies and best practices.
• Optimize inventory levels across all sites to achieve 100% availability of critical supplies while minimizing excess stock.
• Implement demand forecasting and RCCP to align inventory with business needs.
• Ensure optimal warehouse layout, storage solutions, and material handling systems.
• Conduct periodic stock audits, reconciliation and shrinkage prevention.
• Leverage ERP and data analytics to improve inventory visibility, tracking and reporting.
• Define and monitor KPIs for warehouse efficiency, stock accuracy and order fulfillment.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, lean methodologies and cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with procurement and logistics to streamline inbound and outbound processes.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, Joint Commission and other regulatory requirements and conduct regular risk audits.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with proven experience in warehouse and inventory management, preferably in a healthcare environment.
• Strong leadership skills to manage and develop a warehouse team.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with procurement, logistics and clinical departments.
• Excellent analytical mindset for data‑driven decision making.
