Senior MEP Field Engineer – HVAC, Fire Fighting & Plumbing

About the role

Innovative Engineering Solution is seeking a Senior MEP Field Engineer to lead HVAC, fire‑fighting and plumbing installations on construction sites in Karachi. The role combines technical oversight with team leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within quality standards and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily field operations for HVAC, fire‑fighting and plumbing systems.
• Lead, mentor and coordinate a team of up to 15 engineers, technicians and supervisors.
• Verify that all installation work follows design drawings, specifications and safety regulations.
• Review mechanical, electrical and plumbing drawings to confirm correct site implementation.
• Coordinate material deliveries and resolve on‑site challenges with contractors and suppliers.
• Monitor progress, prepare daily reports and update project managers on status.
• Conduct quality inspections and functional testing of installed systems.
• Enforce site safety policies, perform risk assessments and promote safe work practices.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshoot engineering issues during installation.
• Maintain documentation such as work orders, inspection reports and compliance certificates.

Required profile

• Minimum eight years of hands‑on experience in MEP field engineering.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate a field team of around 15 personnel.
• Strong understanding of project specifications, quality standards and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with project managers, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Problem‑solving mindset with the capacity to address site issues proactively.
