Senior Network Engineer - Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement and maintain high‑performance network infrastructures for a multi‑vendor enterprise environment. The role focuses on routing, switching, wireless and firewall solutions using Cisco, Cisco Meraki, Aruba and Fortinet technologies. This is a hands‑on individual contributor position based in Islamabad.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and optimise enterprise routing, switching, wireless LANs and complex firewall architectures.
• Manage Cisco IOS devices, Cisco Meraki cloud‑managed infrastructure and Aruba switching/wireless solutions.
• Administer Fortinet FortiGate firewalls, including security policy design, threat mitigation and advanced VPN implementations.
• Enforce network access control policies, perform vulnerability assessments and apply critical patches.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot Layer 2/3 and security issues, and ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on network expansions, infrastructure upgrades and technology evaluations.
• Maintain accurate network topology diagrams, configuration backups and operational documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of enterprise networking experience.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP Enterprise, Aruba ACSP and Fortinet FCSS.
• Proven ability to work independently and deliver reliable network solutions.
