Senior Network Integration & Implementation Engineer

About the role

JazzWorld, Pakistan's fastest-growing digital ecosystem, is hiring a Senior Network Integration & Implementation Engineer (Grade L3) in Islamabad. As the senior hands-on engineer and Huawei technical lead within the Network & Security practice, you will design, integrate and deliver complex networks across data centres, enterprise WAN and SD-WAN, campus and wireless, and service-provider IP core and edge, leading Huawei technical delivery and integrating multi-vendor environments for public-sector, financial-services, service-provider and large-enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Produce high-level and low-level designs for data centre, enterprise WAN, SD-WAN, campus, wireless and IP core and edge networks
• Design data centre fabrics from three-tier architectures to spine-leaf VXLAN/BGP EVPN, including multi-site orchestration across active-active and disaster-recovery sites
• Lead Huawei implementation across iMaster NCE Fabric and Campus, CloudEngine and S-series switching, NE and AR routing, and Huawei firewalls, and integrate other vendors' platforms
• Deliver IP core/provider-edge transformations, technology refreshes, SDN and multi-vendor migrations, and live-production cutovers with validation and fallback plans
• Design network fabrics for AI/GPU workloads and integrate networks with firewalls, load balancers, virtualisation, cloud platforms and existing multi-vendor estates
• Build security into designs through firewall placement, segmentation and policy migration, and lead escalations and root-cause analysis
• Prepare test plans, migration and rollback plans, and as-built records; lead customer UAT and formal acceptance
• Maintain Huawei reference designs and configuration baselines, mentor engineers progressing through HCIA, HCIP and HCIE, and support bids with Solutions Engineering

Required profile

• 8-10+ years in network engineering, including at least 4 years delivering Huawei network solutions and 3 years as a technical or team lead on large programmes
• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline
• End-to-end production network implementation for government, financial-services or service-provider customers
• Experience with VXLAN/BGP EVPN, SDN controllers and iMaster NCE platforms; other platforms are an advantage
• Live-production technology refreshes and multi-vendor migrations with fallback planning
• HCIE-Datacom strongly preferred; at minimum HCIP-Datacom or HCIP Routing & Switching

Required skills

• Hands-on Huawei experience with NE, AR, CloudEngine and S-series platforms
• Routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, IS-IS and MPLS
• iMaster NCE-Fabric, iMaster NCE-Campus or CloudCampus
