Senior Network Security Engineer

About the role

The Senior Network Security Engineer provides deep technical expertise for network troubleshooting, optimisation and implementation, ensuring robust and secure connectivity across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting for routing, switching and firewall issues.
• Implement network changes following approved change procedures.
• Support new infrastructure deployments and conduct root‑cause analysis for recurring incidents.
• Maintain configuration and documentation standards and assist with network security investigations.
• Collaborate with the NOC team to improve monitoring and manage escalations with vendors and service providers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, IT or Computer Science; industry certifications are a plus.
• At least 5 years of experience in similar network security roles.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of routing and switching protocols.
• Experience with firewall technologies.
• Packet analysis and traffic‑troubleshooting abilities.
• Scripting or automation exposure.
• Strong hands‑on configuration experience.
