Senior Oncology Manager

About the role

Helix Pharma, a Pakistan-based pharmaceutical company, is hiring a full-time, on-site Senior Oncology Manager in Karachi. The manager leads and expands the oncology portfolio in the assigned territories, overseeing sales strategy, setting performance targets and guiding sales teams to meet revenue and growth goals while staying compliant with company policies and industry regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with medical and marketing teams to develop oncology-specific plans and conduct market analysis.
• Identify opportunities with key healthcare institutions and oncology professionals.
• Visit hospitals and clinics regularly and build strong relationships with oncologists and other stakeholders.
• Provide training and coaching to the sales force and monitor territory performance against KPIs.
• Prepare regular business reports, forecast demand and contribute to long-term oncology business planning.

Required profile

• Strong territory management skills to plan, organize and optimize oncology coverage and resource allocation.
• Sales and sales force development skills to drive performance and coach teams.
• Oncology expertise, including experience in oncology and a solid understanding of oncology product portfolios and treatment pathways.
• Foundational knowledge of medicine to engage credibly with healthcare professionals.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Life Sciences or Business (healthcare focus) preferred; oncology product management or sales leadership experience highly beneficial.
• Demonstrated integrity, compliance mindset and familiarity with local pharmaceutical regulations and ethical promotion.
