Senior Product Owner – SME Acceptance

About the role

The Senior Product Owner – SME Acceptance will lead the business‑side strategy for merchant acceptance and payment solutions within Mashreq Digital Bank Pakistan. You will shape propositions for micro, small and medium enterprises, drive fee income, and ensure alignment with NeoBiz objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute acceptance & payments proposition strategy for targeted business segments.
• Own end‑to‑end setup, pricing, and go‑to‑market execution of merchant acceptance solutions.
• Act as primary business authority in product squads, translating strategic requirements into actionable features.
• Conduct market and competitive analysis on payment rails (Raast, QR, POS, cards) and adjust propositions accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with SBP regulations and manage operational and financial risks.
• Monitor KPIs such as merchant onboarding, transaction volumes, and fee income.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in product ownership within banking or payments.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage multiple projects.
• Strong business acumen with decision‑making authority on pricing and market strategy.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and capacity to handle competing priorities.
