Senior Quality Assurance / Quality Control Engineer

About the role

The Senior QA/QC Engineer will lead quality assurance and control activities across engineering and construction projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, and client requirements. You will coordinate inspections, manage documentation, and drive continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and related QA/QC procedures.
• Conduct inspections of incoming materials, ongoing work, and completed activities to verify compliance.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and third‑party inspectors for approvals.
• Prepare, review and maintain QA/QC documentation such as inspection reports, MIRs, RFIs and test records.
• Identify non‑conformities, issue NCRs and monitor corrective/preventive actions to closure.
• Participate in root‑cause analysis and recommend preventive measures.
• Monitor subcontractor quality performance and ensure adherence to project requirements.
• Maintain calibration records for inspection and testing equipment.
• Support internal and external quality audits and ensure QMS compliance.
• Prepare periodic QA/QC reports and maintain comprehensive quality records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in a QA/QC role within construction or engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of QMS standards, particularly ISO 9001.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• ISO 9001 certification preferred.
