Senior Sales & Application Engineer

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Punjab, Pakistan and focuses on driving the complete sales cycle for engineering solutions in the power‑generation and industrial sectors. The Senior Sales & Application Engineer will translate customer technical needs into validated offers and provide application engineering support to ensure optimal equipment selection.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end sales process, from opportunity identification and technical qualification to proposal preparation and contract negotiation.
• Interpret customer technical requirements and prepare accurate technical and commercial offers.
• Provide application engineering support, including troubleshooting and post‑sales assistance.
• Engage with industrial clients through site visits and coordinate with internal engineering and service teams.
• Monitor market trends, support bid strategy, and deliver technical presentations.
• Contribute to business development initiatives aligned with company goals.

Required profile

• Strong sales engineering and solution‑selling skills, with experience in proposal development and customer relationship management.
• Solid background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering relevant to turbines, generators, compressors, pumps, or similar equipment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (advanced degrees or certifications are a plus).
• Proven experience in power, oil & gas, or process industries.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work on‑site with cross‑functional teams, manage multiple projects, and travel to customer locations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Use of basic engineering design or calculation tools.
• Familiarity with OEM documentation and industry standards.
• Technical troubleshooting and application engineering support.
