Senior SAP Plant Maintenance Executive

About the role

Recruit AI is recruiting a Senior SAP Plant Maintenance Executive in Karachi. The role manages and maintains the SAP PM system to support efficient maintenance operations, keeping master data accurate, processing maintenance notifications and work orders, and producing dashboards and MIS reports on maintenance performance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update SAP PM master data such as equipment, functional locations, maintenance plans, task lists and bills of materials (BOMs).
• Create, process and close maintenance notifications and work orders for breakdown, preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Support preventive maintenance scheduling and monitor compliance with maintenance plans to reduce equipment downtime.
• Capture and track breakdown history, downtime incidents, MTBF, MTTR and maintenance costs.
• Design dashboards and MIS reports using SAP reporting tools, Microsoft Power BI and MS Access, and manage MS Access databases and queries.
• Analyze maintenance data to find recurring failures, high-cost assets and cost-improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate with maintenance engineers, stores and procurement teams for spare parts availability and material reservations in SAP.
• Provide user support and training to maintenance staff on SAP PM transactions and escalate complex issues to the SAP/IT team.
• Ensure high-quality data and timely reporting for management reviews, and apply TPM, preventive and predictive maintenance concepts.

Required profile

• Relevant technical qualifications and practical experience in SAP PM.
• Ability to maintain data quality and deliver timely, insightful reports.
• Strong analytical skills and clear communication of data to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• No team management required.
