Senior SEO Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Senior SEO Project Manager to lead day‑to‑day SEO operations across all client accounts at our digital marketing agency. This hands‑on leadership position will oversee a team of 10+ specialists, ensuring projects are delivered on time, quality standards are met, and measurable organic growth is achieved for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage a team of 10+ SEO specialists across technical, on‑page and off‑page disciplines.
• Set daily, weekly and monthly priorities, conduct 1‑on‑1s, performance reviews and skill‑development sessions.
• Own the SEO project pipeline from kickoff to delivery, maintaining project plans, timelines and delivery trackers.
• Manage client communications, expectations and monthly strategy calls while identifying upsell opportunities.
• Review and approve all SEO deliverables, lead technical audits, keyword strategy sessions and content planning.
• Oversee link‑building, digital PR outreach and authority‑building initiatives.
• Build and maintain SEO dashboards (Looker Studio, GA4, GSC) and present insights to senior leadership.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of SEO experience with at least 3 years in a management or team‑lead role at a digital marketing agency.
• Proven track record managing large SEO teams (10+ people) and multiple client accounts.
• Strong client‑facing communication skills and ability to translate SEO data into business language.
