Senior Software Engineer – Remote (Pakistan)

About the role

NextMatch AI is building a high‑performance Core Engineering Squad in Pakistan to develop its AI engine. As a Senior Software Engineer you will work directly with senior architects in Toronto and Abu Dhabi, contributing to new, high‑impact features rather than maintaining legacy code.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AI matchmaking algorithms that connect talent with global enterprises.
• Build scalable architecture capable of handling massive traffic from Middle Eastern and North American clients.
• Optimize cloud deployments on AWS and Azure for low‑latency, global performance.
• Collaborate daily with remote teams to ensure alignment on technical decisions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of full‑stack or backend development experience.
• Excellent written and spoken English for technical discussions.
• Demonstrated ability to build complex systems from scratch (GitHub portfolio or similar).
