Senior SQA Automation Analyst

About the role

Contour Software, a subsidiary of Constellation Software Inc., is looking for an experienced Senior SQA Automation Analyst to expand and mature its test automation on a complex, highly configurable SaaS platform. The role focuses on accelerating Playwright adoption, improving regression coverage, strengthening CI/CD quality gates and supporting AI-assisted testing. It is based in the Lahore office as an extension of the division's R&D team.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve quality engineering frameworks across functional, API, integration, contract, end-to-end, performance, resilience, accessibility, security and data quality testing, and build reusable automation components, test data utilities and reporting.
• Embed quality practices throughout the AI-DLCE: turn business intent into acceptance criteria, verify human- and AI-generated code, and keep traceability between requirements, risks and releases.
• Apply AI to test design, automation development, exploratory testing support, failure investigation and documentation, and review AI-generated assets for correctness, security and maintainability.
• Integrate automated validation into developer workflows and CI/CD pipelines, define quality gates by change risk, and distinguish product defects from test, data and environment issues.
• Prioritize verification of business-critical workflows, use production incidents and telemetry to refine quality priorities, and convert recurring failures into reproducible checks.
• Translate security, privacy and compliance requirements into verifiable controls, and partner with DevOps and Security on checks and evidence.
• Build a Quality Center of Excellence: set standards and reference architectures, advise on complex challenges, coach developers and QA engineers, and enable knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of professional QA experience with strong hands-on AI and automation expertise.
• Progressive experience in software quality engineering, including automation architecture and technical advisory.
• Ability to work across different technology stacks, product architectures and engineering maturities, and to coach geographically distributed teams.

Required skills

• Strong programming and debugging skills, with experience building maintainable automation and reusable components.
• API and integration testing, data validation, test data management and complex workflow verification.
• Experience integrating automated validation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Practical experience with AI-assisted engineering tools and evaluation of their outputs.
• Preferred: configuring SaaS platforms, performance/resilience/security/observability practices, and AI-enabled or agentic workflows.
