Senior Technical SEO Specialist & WordPress Developer

About the role

Seo Impact Pros is seeking a senior professional to design, develop, and optimise responsive WordPress websites while leading technical SEO initiatives for a diverse portfolio of local businesses. This fully remote position combines hands‑on development with strategic SEO oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain responsive WordPress sites using Elementor or Bricks Builder.
• Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits and resolve crawl, indexing and structural issues.
• Improve Core Web Vitals and PageSpeed metrics through performance optimisation.
• Implement schema markup (Schema.org, JSON‑LD) and manage rich‑result eligibility.
• Configure Google Search Console, Cloudflare, DNS, and security/backup protocols.
• Execute seamless website migrations while preserving SEO equity.
• Optimise images and media assets for speed without quality loss.
• Enhance site architecture via internal linking, canonical tags, redirects, robots.txt and XML sitemaps.
• Customise and manage SEO plugins such as Yoast SEO or Rank Math.
• Collaborate with content teams to publish SEO‑optimised pages.

• Proven senior‑level experience in technical SEO and WordPress development.
• Strong leadership skills to guide a team of eight professionals.
• Detail‑oriented problem‑solver with ownership mindset.
