SEO Executive (Technical & CMS)

About the role

Systems Limited is looking for a technically skilled and strategically minded SEO Executive to join its extended digital team via an external partner. The role is hands-on and data-driven, with growing ownership of SEO governance, cross-functional alignment and strategic delivery. It suits someone who wants to combine technical SEO with enterprise CMS platforms and AI-powered SEO practices.

Key responsibilities

• Translate the global SEO roadmap into actionable local deliverables across multiple markets, and validate and challenge agency recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with Paid Media, Content and Analytics teams, and act as a strategic partner to internal stakeholders.
• Execute technical SEO: metadata optimization, schema markup, image alt text and internal linking, and manage small-scale updates in Magento and Adobe AEM.
• Run SEO audits with Screaming Frog, SEMrush and Google Search Console and deliver recommendations.
• Define and maintain SEO standards (naming conventions, metadata templates, schema consistency, link governance) and support cross-market reporting consistency.
• Use AI-powered tools (Conductor, Similarweb) to find keyword opportunities and content gaps, support programmatic SEO such as store locators, and adapt on-page strategy to evolving search engines.
• Track organic performance and SEO health scores, contribute to dashboards in Power BI, and align reporting with Workfront workflows.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of SEO experience, preferably with a focus on technical SEO and CMS-based implementations.
• Familiarity with Magento and Adobe AEM or similar enterprise CMS platforms.
• Ability to work independently and manage several tasks in a remote, outsourced setup, with strong communication skills.
• Nice to have: agency experience and basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and schema.org.
