Server Administrator (Level 1/2) – Full‑time

About the role

We are looking for a Server Administrator (Level 1/2) to join our technical support team. The role involves monitoring, maintaining and supporting a range of hosting services for our clients, ensuring high availability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 ticket management for Level 1 issues (information gathering) and Level 2 issues (troubleshooting and resolution).
• Monitor server health, respond to alerts, and perform routine maintenance.
• Handle live‑chat and ticketing support for client inquiries.
• Manage web, mail, DNS, FTP, and SSH services using cPanel/WHM.
• Assist clients with virtualization, Docker containers, and Windows server environments.
• Document technical processes and create clear support documentation.

Required profile

• 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in server administration.
• Degree in BE/BTech, BSc, BCS, MSc, MCS (not mandatory) or equivalent certification such as RHCE (optional).
• Fluent English with strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem‑solving ability, attention to detail and teamwork orientation.

Required skills

• Linux administration and basic Bash scripting.
• Web server, mail server, DNS, FTP, SSH, and cPanel/WHM management.
• Virtualization technologies and Docker.
• Windows server basics and firewall configuration.
• Database and web technologies: MySQL, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Email protocols: IMAP, POP, SMTP.
• Experience with WordPress, Joomla, Magento or similar platforms.
• Ability to write clear technical documentation.
