Service Engineer (Processing)

About the role

Tetra Pak Pakistan is looking for a Service Engineer (Processing) to carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of processing machines at customer sites, improve machine efficiency, and modify, create and deploy PLC software and HMIs for processing equipment and upgrade projects.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on processing machines, working hands-on on mechanical and electrical components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electro-mechanical and automation issues, including hardware, software and network problems.
• Develop, troubleshoot and upgrade PLC and HMI programs and software.
• Disassemble, reassemble and commission Tetra Pak processing machines at customer sites according to the Tetra Pak process.
• Promote a safe working culture, ensure accurate and timely reporting, and act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak with customers and colleagues.

Required profile

• 3+ years of relevant experience in installations, maintenance, automation and service work, with expertise in industrial systems.
• Extensive travel availability (70%) for short-term assignments, including frequent travel within Pakistan and internationally.
• Hands-on expertise in automation systems and preventive maintenance, able to diagnose and repair complex systems independently.
• Experience in installations and system upgrades.
• Previous roles as Technician, Production Engineer or Maintenance Engineer are an advantage.
• Strong written and spoken English to liaise with international teams and customers.
