ServiceNow Developer

About the role

The ServiceNow Developer collaborates with peer developers, system administrators, architects, and the user community to design, build, and maintain ServiceNow applications. This role requires advanced client‑ and server‑side scripting to deliver robust solutions that meet business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop applications, forms, workflows, and interfaces using ServiceNow platform features.
• Create and troubleshoot UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, ACLs, notifications, UI Pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, and Formatters.
• Prepare and maintain technical specifications and knowledge‑base articles.
• Participate in user acceptance testing and Scrum ceremonies.
• Apply documentation best‑practice policies throughout the development lifecycle.
• Perform additional duties as required to support the ServiceNow environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum five years of hands‑on ServiceNow experience.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Certified Application Developer (to be obtained within one year of employment).
• Broad understanding of hardware, networking, operating systems, and related applications.
• Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, lead teams, and collaborate with vendors and customers.

• MySQL scripting.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.

• Project management tools such as MS Project and Microsoft Access.
