Social Media Content Creator

About the role

The Social Media Content Creator will be responsible for creating, publishing and managing engaging social media content across Mobilink Bank’s digital platforms. The role involves hands‑on content planning, shooting, editing and publishing, with a strong focus on platform algorithms, audience behaviour and emerging trends.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, shoot and edit short‑form videos, reels, interviews, behind‑the‑scenes and trend‑based formats, ensuring timely delivery.
• Edit videos with appropriate transitions, captions, sounds and visual effects; create basic static designs, thumbnails and other creative assets while maintaining visual consistency.
• Stay updated on social media trends, memes, sounds and platform features; incorporate relevant trends into the bank’s communication and optimise content for each platform.
• Monitor comments, direct messages and mentions; respond in line with the bank’s tone of voice and escalate sensitive queries to relevant teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media, Digital Media, Design or a related field (preferred) and relevant certifications or training.
• Three to five years of experience in social media, content creation or digital marketing, with a portfolio demonstrating reels, short‑form videos and static designs.

Required skills

• Video shooting and editing (smartphone or camera).
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Canva and Adobe Photoshop.
• Knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, WhatsApp and YouTube ecosystems and their algorithms.
• Basic graphic design and static content creation.
• Understanding of internet culture, memes and emerging content styles.
