Software Engineer – Enterprise Systems & Integration

About the role

The University Registrar’s Office is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise software systems that support the student information ecosystem. You will work across ERP platforms, scheduling tools, and custom applications to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions, integrations, and automation workflows across enterprise systems.
• Build and support APIs, services, and batch processes linking ERP, scheduling, and other institutional platforms.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and perform root‑cause analysis to ensure service continuity.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs, enhancements, reports, and process improvements.
• Develop backend processes, data pipelines, reports, and automation scripts using SQL and enterprise tools.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, focusing on scalability, performance, and long‑term maintainability.
• Ensure code quality through testing, documentation, version control, and secure development practices.

Required profile

• Strong fundamentals in software engineering, data structures, and system design.
• Experience with backend development, APIs, and enterprise application integration.
• Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders, IST teams, and external partners.
• Familiarity with ERP/SIS environments is a plus but not mandatory.
