Software Engineer – Python/Django (Hybrid, Islamabad)

About the role

Lycore is looking for a full‑time Software Engineer to join its Islamabad team. The position is hybrid, allowing you to work both on‑site and remotely while focusing on Python/Django development.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain backend applications using Python and Django.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs for internal and external services.
• Collaborate with front‑end developers to deliver full‑stack features, using frameworks such as ReactJs or VueJs.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimisation.
• Contribute to agile sprint planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of professional experience with Python and Django.
• Strong understanding of back‑end web development and object‑oriented programming.
• Experience deploying web applications and APIs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
