Software Quality Assurance Intern

About the role

Cybersoft North America Inc., a software solutions and tools provider founded in 1996, is hiring a full-time, on-site Software Quality Assurance Intern in Lahore. The intern helps the QA team review software requirements, create and run test cases, and document results so that product quality is ensured.

Key responsibilities

• Review software requirements and create and execute test cases
• Document test results and support defect identification, reporting and tracking
• Verify fixes across different releases
• Collaborate with developers and product teams, contribute to test plans and take part in meetings on software reliability and user experience

Required profile

• Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field is preferred
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication and ability to work in a team

Required skills

• Software Quality Assurance and QA processes and methodologies
• Ability to design, document and execute test cases
• Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle and testing concepts
• Familiarity with bug tracking or issue management tools is beneficial
