Sourcing Manager

About the role

The Sourcing Manager will lead the end‑to‑end sourcing process for Target’s owned brands across multiple categories and geographic markets. You will partner with internal teams and external vendors to drive financial performance, ensure ethical sourcing, and support product development from concept to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and manage vendors/factories throughout product design, development, risk assessment, and capacity planning.
• Conduct costing, negotiation, and market intelligence analysis to achieve optimal financial results.
• Oversee the full sourcing program, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues, implement contingency plans, and maintain ethical sourcing cycles.
• Support post‑shipment activities, including claim resolution and settlement.
• Vet and onboard new vendors/factories, aligning them with Target’s expectations and standards.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships to continuously improve supply‑chain performance and support brand strategy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably in Textiles) or equivalent experience.
• 8 + years of sourcing and/or merchandising experience.
• Deep knowledge of product categories and sourcing operations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and local languages.
• Strong problem‑solving, negotiation, analytical, and planning abilities.
