Specialist Data Analytics & Insights

About the role

JazzWorld is looking for a technically‑inclined Specialist in Data Analytics & Insights to join its Business Assurance team. The role focuses on data‑driven transaction monitoring, fraud detection and automation, using SQL, Python, Power BI and data‑science techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Write optimized SQL queries for large‑scale transactional data analysis.
• Perform in‑depth analysis to identify fraud patterns, anomalies and customer behavior trends.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for fraud monitoring, KPIs and operational insights.
• Transform, cleanse, aggregate and normalize data for analytics use cases.
• Develop Python scripts to automate data extraction, validation and reporting processes.
• Support automation of recurring assurance and monitoring tasks and improve SQL performance for large datasets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science or a related field.
• 0‑2 years of experience working with SQL, Python, Hadoop, Power BI or similar tools.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking with high attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn, take ownership and work effectively in a team.

Required skills

• SQL (queries, joins, aggregations, large‑dataset extraction).
• Python (Pandas, data manipulation, scripting/automation).
• Power BI (dashboard creation and data visualization).
• Hadoop ecosystem basics.
• Data cleansing, aggregation and normalization techniques.
