Sr. AWS DevOps Engineer - Kubernetes Expertise

About the role

Cloudelligent is seeking an experienced Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain complex cloud environments for its customers. You will lead automation initiatives, ensure resilient infrastructure, and mentor junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure that is redundant, scalable, self‑sustaining and self‑healing.
• Promote Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform, CloudFormation or CDK and automate CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI or GitLab.
• Design, build, and maintain Kubernetes/EKS clusters, namespaces and deployments.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry and the ELK stack.
• Ensure compliance, security best practices and network design (VPN, DNS, load balancing, firewalls).
• Train and mentor junior DevOps engineers and new team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of professional DevOps experience, including 4+ years with CI/CD tools.
• Strong communication skills in English.
