Staff DevOps Engineer (Salesforce)

About the role

Devoric is looking for an experienced Staff DevOps Engineer specialized in Salesforce to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of its Salesforce DevOps strategy. You will work closely with Engineering, Product, QA, Security, and Business teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable deployment pipelines across the Salesforce ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using Copado.
• Manage deployments across Development, QA, UAT and Production environments, including Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Data Cloud.
• Establish Git workflows, branching strategies and merge processes.
• Define and enforce DevOps standards, governance and best practices.
• Implement automated testing frameworks (unit, integration, end‑to‑end) and static code analysis tools such as PMD.
• Lead release planning, coordinate deployment windows and maintain release calendars.
• Handle sandbox refreshes, environment synchronization and credential management.
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy and industry standards, including HIPAA where applicable.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, preferably within Salesforce environments.
• Proven ability to lead CI/CD initiatives and release management.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams.
